Breathing Tour Day 10 International Community School

What if our job on this planet was to keep ourselves optimistic and generous? And to not take ourselves too seriously? But take connection and community seriously.

That is the energy we experienced at International Community School.

Lori the Librarian is quite generous with her optimism. She has the children kiss their hands and slap their foreheads and says , “Kiss Your Brain!” when the children respond with wisdom.

She sits in the “Farting Chair” so no one else sits in or argues over sitting in her chair in case there are, well, lingering fart energy. She’s hilarious.

The second graders known as the “Principalled Planets” held themselves in the state of glass half full during our deep breaths.

We were in such rhythm harmony with our breath and our movements that we connected to the butterflies in the media center that are about to fly out of their cocoon.

We pulled in hundreds of pounds of positive energy into our hearts. Our optimism muscles are so much more developed!

We are naturally rhythmic, and breathing together in community helps us get back to our natural state when our inner battles take over. Connecting our deep breath creates an opening of rhythmic harmony that feels good.

Rhythm creates harmony and stability.

It helps us rise from the muck of our deepest challenges to create our deepest wisdom.

May we continue to go higher into the strength of generosity and optimism.

Thank you Lori and the Principalled Planets for sharing your breath with us. Breathe Free!
